Today I introduced a steampunk in Hungary to one who lives in Moscow. We spoke together, standing outside a church where two ladies had just been wed. At the wedding reception, I danced the minuet with an elegant while unicorn, a mid-European soldier, and a Japanese lady in a kimono. That evening I sat around a ring of campfires as an aging Confederate widow told us stories of freedom and independence.
